he Kingdom of Holmgaard is in the north of the Sommerland. It is divided into two big areas often called SomHolmgaard (north) and LunHolmgaard (south)
SomHolmgaard hosts the Royal Fortress of Kilkgaard, as well as the Royal Sea Arsenals. It is protected on the East by the Great Defense Walls, constructed during Stormgaard's Orcish Invasion.

The heavily fortified Bridge of Unoram links SomHolmgaard to LunHolmgaard. This bridge is an engineering masterpiece and is high enough to let the Holmgaard Battlecruisers through to the Hemd Sea.
LunHolmgaard is mainly rural and wild, as are the Elfic Forests of Kirlundin and the Anskaven Mountains that host the Dwarven mines of Moytura.
